 Class Evaluation

Somethings I like about this class are that we using computers instead of paper. Also that its always quite and we learn how computers work. Somethings I dislike about  the class is that it's gets really boring and I jut feel like falling asleep. Also having to share your feeling on a certain topic out loud. Something I recommend is that we keep going around  the classroom and partner up with someone to talk about a topic. It's really fun and after all were not sitting the during the whole class.
I am not reading my life planning journal everyday the only time I do is in class. I don't do it just because i don't feel like it. Besides I know what I want to accomplish. I am a ctr person most of the time only thing that's blocking me is that i'm failing my classes. I'm trying change that right now. Some things that In learned is computer vocabulary this I can pass down to people who don't understand the computer language I will always remember Mr.Haymore because he always tries to get others to choose the right 24/7.

The Psychology of Winning 10                                 Qualities of a True Winner

Quality 1: Positive Self-Expectancy
"Life is a self fulfilling prophecy. True winners go into every event expecting to win."

What this means is that if you want to accomplish something in life you have to tell yourself that you will succeed. For example lets say you're playing a game of football with your friends and you want to win. What you have have to do is to tell yourself that you will win. This will increase your chances in succeeding. If won't always work but yo shouldn't have any doubt in you. Doubt will drag you down. There is no magic involved with this its all physiological. When telling your self that you will succeed your having the mindset  of not failing and you will only be pushing yourself to win. If you try hard enough you will always succeed.

Quality 2: Positive Self Motivation
"True winners dig deep and find motivation inside themselves to get through that tough task or to learn a new skill."

What this means is that if you want to achieve a goal you need to find inspiration within yourself. By finding inspiration within yourself that it when you've already accomplished something. Don't rely on others to help because in this moment you need to help yourself. For example lets say that you wanna loose weight you have to find that motivation within yourself to accomplish your goal.

Quality 3: Positive self image
True winners are confident and view themselves as competent, valuable human beings.

What this means is that in order to be successful at anything you need to have confidence in order to achieve anything. You need to always tell you're self that your're going to win. Without having confidence you won't achieve anything. For example you want to learn a new sport but you don't think you can do it. That's the most important time to have self confidence. Remember that without having confidence you wont achieve anything.

Quality 4:Positive Self-Direction

You gotta have direction if you are going to go anywhere.
True winners know where they are going. Their sense of direction comes from the self and not from the outside influences like parents or friends.

What this means is that successful people are where they're at because of their sense of direction. This means that they had goals in life and they guided themselves towards them. If you don't have any goals in life you have no sense of direction. This will lead you to become lost and miserable. By just simply writing down things you want to accomplish you're most likely to getting it done. So remember to have self sense in direction.

Quality 10: Positive Action

Total winners take positive action in their business and with their friends and family. They are uplifting and motivating individuals who inspire the best from themselves and other.

What this means is that people who are total winners are always positive.

                                                 25 blocks

Block 1: Industriousness
"There is no substitute for work. Worthwhile results come from hard work and careful planning."

What this means is that when you work hard towards something you will be rewarded . There is no other way to get that reward without working for it. What it means to work hard is that you need to put your and time and effort toward something you really want. Nothing is free either you work for it or you just complain about not having it. For example you want to loose weight and get fit. Its not gonna happen in one day. Its gonna take time and effort to get that.

Block 2: Enthusiasm
"It is the engine that powers all blocks of the pyramid. It is why I chose Industriousness and Enthusiasm as the cornerstones of my Pyramid of Success. It is where everything begins."

Enthusiasm is the key to success it is what motivates others and yourself. If your not enthusiastic then you don't look forward to doing anything. You might come off to others as a boring and negative person. People don't want to spend time with someone that they don't have fun with. Being enthusiastic doesn't only apply to making friends but in school or work too. If you're a enthusiastic employee who loves their job and looks forward to working everyday most likely you will be offered jobs.

Block 3: Friendship
"Comes from mutual esteem, respect and devotion. Like marriage it must not be taken for granted but requires a joint effort."

What this means is that friendship is a very important key element in our lives. You have to treat friendship like its a marriage but not completely. Yo have to respect each other and be kind. Many friendships don't have this that's why they fail to succeeded.

Block 4: Loyalty
"To yourself and to all those depending upon you. Keep your self- respect."

Loyalty is was keeps relationships strong if there is no loyalty then than relationship will come crumbling down. In order to have successful relationship you need to have build trust and loyalty. Some relationships don't have loyalty and that's why they never last or respect one another. What it means to be loyal is that you never betray or lie to someone or something. For example Your in a relationship and your partner always lies to you doesn't tell you how they feel. There is no loyalty in that relationship and that's why its a disaster.

Block 5: Cooperation
"With all levels of your co-workers. Listen if you want to be heard. Be interested in finding the best way, not in having your own way."

What this means is that you need to be considerate towards others so treat others the way you would want to be treated. If you want someone to listen to you, then you must listen to them first. Always think about how the other person feels. Don't always think about your way and how you want it.

Block 6: Ambition (For noble goals)

Ambition is something that we all need to have in order to succeed in our goals. If there is no ambition there is no strive to win or succeed only to fail. We always need to believe that we can win or achieve our goals. You need to have confidence and believe in yourself. That is why we need ambition in order to succeed .

Block 7: Self-Control

"Practice self-discipline and keep emotions under control. Good judgement and common sense are essential."

What this means is that we need to know how to control our emotions and the way we act and speak. Some people are good at controlling their  emotions and some are not. For example you're driving and someone hits your car how would you react. Would you get out of the car yelling and screaming at the person. Or will you go up to them respectfully and switch insurance information. You need to also have common sense you can't just get out of the car and start yelling at someone that is wrong. What happened was a accident and it wasn't intentional.

Block 8: Alertness
"Be observing constantly. Stay open-minded. Be eager to learn and improve."

What this means is to be joyful and not negative about things.

"Set a realistic goal. Concentrate on its achievements by resisting all temptations and being determined and persistent."

What this means is to achieve goals that are in your reach. An whenever you fell discouraged focus on the achievement of that goal. Do not fall into temptation to risk you from not achieving that goal properly. Be motivated and try your hardest and when trying to achieve your goals. Focus concentrate and don't become discouraged.

Block 11: Sincerity (Keeps friends)

What this means is that you need to be sincere to people because it shows that  love them and respect them. When your sincere with people it shows that you trust them and they can become are open with you.

Block 12: Adaptability  ( To any situation)

What this means is that you need to always be prepared and adapt to whats happening. If  you can't catch up you will end up be left behind. You need to think fast and act fast. Life will never wait for you. Its important to adapt to your surroundings.

         Block 13: Condition

"Mental- Moral-Physical. Rest, exercise and diet must be considered. Moderation must be practiced. Dissipation must be eliminated."

What this means is that you should consider exercising and taking care of yourself. For example of you're out of shape you need to get healthy and slim by exercising, eating well ,and most importantly sleep.  Sleep is important because it allows your body to rest and to adapt to changes you're making. Be in condition not only helps you physically but mentally also.

                                                                                                                                                \

Block 14: Skill

"A knowledge of and the ability to properly and quickly execute the fundamentals. Be prepared and cover every little detail."

What this means is that when you wanna be good at something you need to have skill. For example lets you want to play basketball you need to have skill in order to be good. Skill is when you properly and quickly execute moves. So if you're playing basketball you need to be prepared to act properly and quickly.

Block 15: Team Spirit

"A genuine consideration for others. An eagerness to sacrifice personal interest of glory for the welfare of all."

What this means is that when you work together as a team you get more done. If it were to be just one person in charge of everything it would be impossible for that person to do everything.

Block 16: Honesty (in thought and action)
"Honesty is the best policy." (Ben Franklin)

What this means is that if you're a honest person people will like you because they don't want to be lied to and they know that they can count on you. If you're honest all the time people will always trust you. Nobody want a liar as a friend only thing that they're  good at is lying. So that's why its important to be honest. When you're honest you choose the right.

Block 17: Resourcefulness (proper judgement)
"Make the most out of what you have." (Anonymous)
"If you have a dream, if you have something you've always wanted to do, look within yourself because that is where resourcefulness resides; and go for it (Jenifer Witterick)

What this means is that if you want to accomplish a goal in life you need to go for it because then other people will do it before you. Pick yourself up and get to work because the opportunity won't come to you. You have to go out there and find it and if you can't do it, it is because you don't want it. If you really wanted to do something you would've tried already.

Block 18: Poise

"Just being yourself. Being at ease in any situation."

What this means is that you need to be yourself at all times. Never try to be someone that your not. You have to be yourself by yourself all the time. Never try to be someone that you're not in order to impress others. If people don't like you for who you are that is perfectly fine because if the really wanted to be your friends they would like you. Then you wouldn't have to go out and waste your time.

Block 20: Reliability (creates respect)

Whats this means is that when you're reliable all the time people can trust respect, and count on you. When people can trust you it also means that they can respect you. Because a trustworthy person is a respectable person. If you're not reliable you're not trustworthy. Over time you need to win people's trust because it won't come the next day.

Block 21: Fight (determined effort)

What this means is that in order to be good or successful at something you need to fight for it. Nothing will come your way unless you put work and effort towards your goal. Nothing comes free in life everyone has something because they've worked for it. For example lets say you have a group project and no one puts effort into the project. Would you expect an A plus? No right if there is no effort put into your goal don't expect to achieve it.

Block 22: Competitive Greatness

"Be at your best when your best is needed. Enjoyment of a difficult challenge."

What this means is that you need to be competitive in order to succeed. There will be other who will try to out beat you that' why you have to put in that extra effort. When you do this you train your mind and body to be its best. You earn from difficult situations that's the only way that you adapt and become better. For example lets say you're play a game of basketball and your opponents are trying harder than you. This means that you have to try harder. The only way to succeed is to try your best. Just remember to stay humble at all times.

Everyone must have faith because if you have faith you have a good mindset and are a strong person.

Block 25: Patience (good things take time)

What this means is that in order to achieve something it will take patience. The bigger the goal the longer you have to wait things will not come over night. They can come faster if you put more effort. But overall it will take time and patience. We all need to have patience as a quality. If it wasn't for patience the world wouldn't be how it is today.
